    Mabinogi Won't Start.

    I played Mabinogi frequently on my computer without a problem. Then, out of nowhere, I got a message saying the game couldn't start. It copied this error code to my clipboard:

    client.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
    in module client.exe at 0023:017F42C2, esl::IIMEEventHandler::`vftable'()+0x70dede

    OS : Microsoft Windows 7, Service Pack 1

    I've uninstalled it, reinstalled, deleted everythin on my computer related to Mabinogi, everything I can think of. I submitted a ticket, but I keep getting automated responses, and the help it gives hasn't done anything. I really need help. I've already missed out on a couple of events!

    ;-;

    Difficult to say without being on your computer, cause that unknown module memory space only exists for that one run. :S Seemingly, anyway! Could easily check by you copying another report and comparing the addresses.

    Dunno about the vftable thing either, I looked it up but it sounds dynamic so it's probably under the same idea.

    Access violations can be caused by any number of things in the sense that the fixes can be fairly wide ranging. It might be hard to just guess. :/ If you can, a reformat would probably be easier than debugging.

    You should try things like disabling antivirus and other things like that, but if nothing else works, it'd be easiest to just reinstall Windows.
