Protect Yourself in Crashes
Ever lost an item in a crash? Well here's a few tips to help~
This is just something general I thought might help in times like this o3o.
1: When changing outfits or weapons, relog as often as you can.
This saves your character data/exp gain/gold gain/etc.
2: Keep the important items that you use more often handy in your inventory.
If you have it in a pet, you might lagspike and d/c trying to summon and take the item out causing you to possible loose the item.
3:Seal your items!
I've heard that using seal scrolls on your items keeps them from disappearing in sudden crashes.
Considering I've just lost an accessory that gave me +6 defense I've been following this process as to not loose anything else ;-;. Hope it helps ;~;b.

4. Log out until all the crashing issues die down.
It's a fool proof method!

5. Just don't do anything while logged in. It gives you something to do.
(Do not change eqs, move stuff from pets or even summon pets, train or ANYTHING. Stand in 1 place and chat!!!)

Very usefull tips though. But, the bad thing is... You never know when a crash will happen even after the issue is resolved. You can be randomly playing, switching out eqs often, and suddenly CRASH. Then, loggin to find your completely naky with no eqs in your inv D:!!!
The dangers of crashes always exist :/... Just staying logged out until its fixed will not work :<

Another thing which can save your stuff is to Log out EVERYTIME you move some important, and log out WITH THE PET SUMMONED STILL! THis way, your data saves at the SAME time as the pet's data does.

^ Pets get saved every time you un-summon them. Their safe houses 8D

Yeah. And by saving your Data at the same time as they do theirs, you can ensure that if there is a rollback, it goes to those Data files, saved at the same time. I didn't do that during a crash and I lost a Tailteann 2h sword... I also lost my boots, gauntlets and helm, and ALMOST lost my Sailor Suit set.

That was fun I had all my pets out at once and couldn't even see my own character. Then i crashed... Also the crashing can be used to dupe items which is also another bad part about it.
And seals help in the way that since the transfer of items from pet => character then desummon pet causes loss of items seal scroll prevents movement of item from pet => character which makes it so if you take item out of pet, desummon the pet and put a seal scroll on it then it crashes item could still be lost but if you save character data after sealing then item can't be lost until seal wears off. (sorry if it's kind of long to read)
