Yes, I want to find a solution to this problem because many people have had this problem at the login screen. I tried all the remedies from turning on/off router and computer, reinstalling, turning off the firewall, etc. I know my 2 comp cant find the IP address of the login server cuz other ppl can login with an old "dead" acct of mine while i can't. I just can seem to get around what is stopping the connection....-thinks, ponders-
Thank you for ur input. I will keep trouble shooting on my end.

I have something similar happen, though that was invalid information when I tried to log in. I would get to the Belvast screen and it would ask for the account name and password, but claim it was invalid when I typed it in. When you go from the website it is usually better to keep the mabinogi internet page open until after the hackshield is loaded, or until the Login for the game is up (the Belvast login screen). That was the way I got around it, even if it asked for the username and password again it would usually log in. Might not help but that is something :S
Ruairi-Kay : melee (main); Ly: alchemist; Lani : lightning bolt/thunder mage some archery; Phasia: archer (second)
Alexina-Kit: icebolt mage
note: names are shortend or nicknames. PM me if you need me.

Eeh, this is so grasping at the straws now, but have you tried both opening the client directly and logging in, and logging in at the website and have it launch the client?

It might help you to set your computer a static IP on your router if you know how to. This will prevent your computer from occasionally losing its connection briefly before regaining it, thanks to the DHCP lease expiring. Also, perhaps your antivirus/ Internet security program is blocking it?
