Something that would be VERY handy.
On the app store, there are several handy looking tools for mabinogi, which appear to have things like noon gate timer, price timer, advanced play items, Rua and such. Only problem is that they're in Japanese or Korean. If we could code up an app for iOS and Android to do the same things but also be able to pull data from the wiki, it could be very handy. Also, if we could code in a commerce calculator, there is a Java applet available online, we could make a great tool for Mabinogi players in the US and Canada. I would try to code it, but I have no idea how to program something for iOS.

Idk if any of us do. Maybe Irjustman might, maybe Recirah, and maybe Khenta. Idk about anyone else.
This would be useful, but it would be time consuming.

Well, Apple's SDK supposedly isn't hard to use. Also, Android is mainly based off of JavaScript stuff, and an app doesn't have to be checked through by Google. iOS apps need to be checked by Apple first. That and to submit apps for IOS to apple and apps for android to Google, you have to become a developer for them, a.k.a. paying them like $100 or so. We could use donation money to pay a professional developer to do it for us. Donations aren't coming in fast though, but it's an idea.

No it's not. Java and JavaScript are not nearly the same thing.
That's $100/yr for iOS, $25 one time fee for Android. A website with a mobile UI would be completely free, but a little clunkier and it seems like everyone here preferred a mobile forum skin rather than a forum app. I don't think this is something worth paying someone for.

Well, it's an idea. If the apps were to sell for like $0.99 on the app store/Android Market, the cost COULD be covered. I would pay like $5 for a good app with wiki access. My computer doesnt run Mabi the best and my iPhone would be great. Only problem is that the skins don't work the best for an iPhone screen.
