Cheshire Nao Event

(Yup, here's my own attempt at making a worthwhile event.)

Nao probably read too much Alice in Wonderland last week. Now she's all about calling herself "Cheshire" Nao and inventing riddles so that other people can solve them.

Today, I help her present:

The Cheshire Nao Event!

1st place prize: 10 000 NX

Objective
Solve Nao's seventh riddle!

Rules/Procedure

EDIT: Originally one needed to solve six riddles before being able to complete the final one, but in an effort to kick things along the answers for the first six riddles have been revealed, in page 6. The seventh riddle, on page 5 is the only one you'll need the answer for to win the 10 k NX prize. (Though, if you're looking for a challenge, try to solve the other six without refering to the guides!)

Over the course of Monday, December 19th to Saturday, December 24 (server time), I will be posting daily, in this thread, a riddle given by Nao. Your job is to try to solve it, and find the word each time. You do not have to post your answer on this forum - that just means you're giving the answer away, which not only reduces your chance of winning the prize, but it can also potentially ruin other people's enjoyment at trying to solve the riddles.

How to get the words, you ask? Generally you just have to find what's strange in the following dialogue I give, and then try to take them as clues and piece them together into directions that should lead you the answer. For example, if somewhere on the screen I have distinguished "aaa" somehow, and then somewhere else I put in "b_n_n_", then you can see that the answer would be "banana". And check everywhere for clues!

At the end of this six-day period you should have six words. I will try my best to post Nao's riddles as regularly as possible, but she's still kinda making them up as she goes, so you may find that two riddles may have been posted two hours or forty-two hours apart.

During this time, I will not be giving any more hints than what I've already posted, nor will I indicate if a guess is correct if someone sends me a PM/posts on the thread. In other words, you're going to be in the dark for a while.

But don't worry, Nao isn't cruel; all of the clues are going to be there, right in the posts' title, contents, possibly previous days' answers, and maybe a different site (that I will indicate to). The riddles won't always be Mabinogi Knowledge reliant, though they will all be Mabinogi based. And once the six days are over, onwards from Sunday December 25, I am willing to respond to PMs that ask me whether the six words are right or not (though I'm only going to do this once daily per user; this hopefully prevents spamming to my inbox).

In fact, once the six days are over I'm going to wait until someone PMs me the six words that are all correct before I post the final riddle. You'll see why when you get to it.

On the off chance that no one manages to get all six words right, starting from Tuesday, December 27 I'll start posting extra hints for each riddle. How much I prod things on will depend on how close the answers I've received will be.

If someone manages to crack the seventh riddle, congratulations! You win! PM me the right answer and I will return a code to a $10 Karma Koin card. Although, I will have one last little skill-testing question. ^^ (Worry about that later, though.) But just because someone got the first place prize doesn't mean anyone has to give up! All subsequent correct answers to the seventh riddle will be entered into the Hall of Fame.

I've implied this, but to win the prize you will need to PM me which means you must have a Mabinogi World account. However, don't let that stop you from trying to crack the riddles! At the very least, you'll get some enjoyment out of trying to solve them all, and at most, if you PM/note the right answer to Flarespirit of Alexina, your IGN will be entered into the Hall of Fame.

One last thing - I've nothing against collaboration. In fact, I welcome it. But don't forget that there's only one NX prize.

Friday, December 23 - A new riddle will be posted. I will not be giving extra hints.
Saturday, December 24 - A new riddle will be posted. I will not be giving extra hints.

Sunday, December 25 - Merry Christmas! I will be giving hints in the form of confirmation of the suggested answers in the PM. Only once daily to each user, however.

Sunday, December 25 and onwards - A new riddle will be posted after someone PMs me the correct answers to previous riddles. If this riddle is also solved, he/she is the winner of the Cheshire Nao Event and will receive 10 000 NX! All subsequent right answers, and all right answers that are PMed/noted to me in-game, will receive a glorious spot in the Hall of Fame.

Tuesday, December 26 and onwards - If no one has solved the first six riddles at this point, this is when I will start posting extra hints.

The rules ended up being more blocky than I hoped. Well, if you need any clarification, I haven't made any restriction that prevents me from answering.

So I wanted to make a character in Mabinogi Japan. I have everything planned...his name (でんわばんごう), his server, his skill sets, his outfit. Heck, I even sent my planned build to Nao for her opinion.

Her feedback so far:

Production Mastery, r9 - This is useless. The extra stamina is lovely, but why stop at rank 9?
Party Healing, r6 + Very good! I'm glad to see that you care for other people so tenderly.
Barrier Spikes, r7 0 I'm in the middle here... Higher levels hurt others, but this isn't adequate enough to protect yourself.
Smash, r3 - Please don't. There's no need for you to attack other gentle animals.

This one's mostly a pop quiz, the clues being inside [] brackets. Then you just have to add or subtract, depending on the sign, all the letters. (Spaces don't count.) For example, if you've got the words "A N T E A T E R" and -"A N T", you can get the word "E A T E R".
In the end you should get three words out of the jumble of letters that remain. One of Nexon's other game's name can be made out of the mess, and what remains should be as easy as pie.

Of course, the real answer isn't one of those three words. You should still know what to do, though.

In case anyone was wondering why the poll was closed, I had hoped that I coulc use it as a sort of tracking device, adding new choices as this thread went along and hopefully having people resubmit the poll every time they solved a new riddle. I learned the hard way that these polls aren't flexible at all. -.-
On the other hand, at least one of you actually solved the second riddle, so that's a bit of a relief. I thought for a while I've completely dropped you all down the deep end. (Or maybe I had...^^') -Akira
