Strange problem with a router and a laptop
ATTN: I fixed the problem with Odin's help. You can go away now.
So a few weeks ago I hooked up our wireless router, but ever since then, there's been some strangeness involving dad's laptop.
The Network Map:
Pinging:
As you can see, it thinks the internet is coming in through the laptop, despite the router being plugged into the router, plugged into the wall.
Googleing the problem is getting me no where. Any clue wtf is wrong?Last edited by FFVIISephy; 12-11-2011 at 11:32 AM.

What kind of Netgear router is it?
We never had a wireless connection before but I'll attempt to try and see what's wrong.
Do you mean Router Plugged into the Modem and Modem into Wall?
What does the command prompt say when you type in ipconfig?
